The prestigious ‘EWC Innovation for Sustainable Development Fellowship 2021′ awarded to the Banglar Pathshala Foundation
(May 2021)
We are proud to share that Banglar Pathshala Foundation was selected as a 2021 Sustainable Innovation Fellow by the East-West Center (EWC). This prestigious recognition, awarded in May 2021, highlighted our commitment to advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The EWC, a US-based organization, carefully selected 16 organizations from 9 countries across Asia and the Americas for this 5-month program. The program aimed to support innovative projects that contribute to five specific SDGs.
Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, the EWC is funded by the US Government and fosters understanding and cooperation between the US, Asia, and the Pacific. With a global network of alumni and partners, the EWC is well-positioned to support initiatives like ours. It has a network of 65,000 alumni and more than 1,100 partner organizations throughout the world.
Banglar Pathshala received valuable support, mentorship, and resources from the EWC and its alumni network as the recipient organization for the EWC Innovation Fellowship grant. This recognition was a significant step towards our goal of making a positive impact on society.
