Shakti Bidyalaya

An Institute Run by Banglar Pathshala Foundation
Shakti Bidyalaya is an institution that runs series of schools in urban slum areas of Bangladesh established by Banglar Pathshala Foundation. From 2008 we provide free mass education to underprivileged children and street urchins.

Since its inception, we have covered 5,431 children among approximately 12 thousand families through our mass education program in Bangladesh. Our aim is to make realize the deprived children about their human rights and dignity through our basic education, awareness programs and cultural activities.

Pathshala Prokashon

Pathshala Prokashon is the publication house of Banglar Pathshala Foundation. Pathshala Prokashon publishes Research Journals, Monographs and books in Bangla and English language. The following publications are now available in the market:

Pathshala Translation Cell

Pathshala Translation Cell (PTC) is an authorized wing of Banglar Pathshala Foundation. PTC operates to transcreate significant texts written in different languages of the world into Bangla and vice versa. The objective of PTC is to recreate knowledge of the world in Bangla language and to inform the world about the creations in this language. PTC is primarily concerned with the following fields:

  1. Political Economy
  2. Cultural Studies
  3. Literary Theory
  4. Political and Social Studies
  5. Interdisciplinary Studies

Shonkho Projojona

Shonkho Projojona is the audiovisual production house of Banglar Pathshala Foundation. Shonkho Projojona produces and finances the creation of documentary, telefilm, public lecture etc.

Centre for Linguistic Research, Bangladesh (CLR,B)

Centre for Linguistic Research, Bangladesh (CLR,B) is a non-profit research organization based in Bangladesh that undertakes research programs to generate knowledge with a view to empowering the oppressed class in the society. The organization conducts research on the issues/themes ranging from Language Endangerment to Linguistic oppression/discrimination and socio-economic implications of existing semiotics. The mandate of CLR,B involves resisting endangerment of ethnic languages in Bangladesh and Linguistic Oppression/Discrimination that occurs at national level. The organization conducts research on ethnic minority languages of Bangladesh from sociological perspective to contribute in formulating an inclusive Language and Education Policy.
