Prof. Rehman Sobhan
Professor Rehman Sobhan, with a background from Cambridge, began his career at Dhaka University in 1957. He held significant economic roles in Bangladesh, founded the Centre for Policy Dialogue, and served at Harvard and Columbia. He is currently the Chairman of CPD.
Prof. Kaushik Basu
Kaushik Basu is the C. Marks Professor of International Studies and Professor of Economics at Cornell University. He served as Chief Economist of the World Bank (2012-16) and Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India (2009-12).
